Camping with kayak for experienced paddlers
This summer we will offer this tour on request. If you are a group of 3 or maximum 6 you are very welcome to mail us about a starting date.
Do you want to develop your kayak and outdoor skills by doing a longer trip and get to know the Swedish West Coast? Then you are most welcome to join us for a memorable kayak experience somewhere in between June and August 2026. (The second half of July is often very crowded here, with Swedes, we recommend you to choose a week before or after that peak of locals on vaccation.
We start out from the small fishermans village Grundsund and head north for a 6 day trip. We will sleep in tents and cook our meals on gas stoves or over the fire. The weather will decide our speed and course for the group. At lunchtime on day 6 we meet up with our driver and get transported back to Grundsund.
Safety, navigation, paddling technique, wind and waves
This tour includes practices in safety, navigation, paddling technique, wind and waves and outdoor life. Depending on weather conditions we might even get a chance to try paddling at night! Except for this you will also experience the splendid nature of the Swedish West Coast in early or late summer, both equally beautiful in their own way. Lots of flowers, happily singing birds in the clear skies during the early summer, or a more mellow summer relation with warm air and water. Maybe with that very special scent that tells you autumn is on its way.
Practical information
Those tours often starts at Sunday 10 am and we begin with a briefing and safety practices before we pack our kayaks and head off north in the afternoon. The price includes kayak rental, life jacket, spreydeck, paddle, map and food for the whole trip. Please inform us if you have any special dietary needs at the time of booking, and feel free to contact us if you have any other questions. Looking forward to seeing you!
Do you want to join our tour to Strömstad this summer?
Please pay the registration fee, 20 % of the price, and book your seat.
Then send an email and tell us about your earlier experiences in kayak paddling and tell us if you have restrictions in relation to food. We will send you the remaining amount on an invoice, to be paid latest 20 days before the tour start.
